WingRiders DAO has actively participated in Project Catalyst since F13, continuously refining its community-driven voting approach. To make the proposal selection process more effective and transparent, an optimized guideline is being proposed. All DAO members are encouraged to review it before voting to ensure a smooth and well-informed experience.
All specific dates: Snapshot, proposal submission period, voting start, and voting end will be announced in accordance with the official Project Catalyst timeline. The DAO will adjust its internal process and publish all key milestones in line with the updated Catalyst framework and communication schedule.
Proposal Grouping & Guidelines
The DAO will consider only open-source proposals (except for the partners category), excluding non-compliant product submissions, in line with its goal of fostering sustainable ecosystem growth.
I: WingRiders proposals
WingRiders has earned consistent trust from the Catalyst community, with proposals backed by reviewers and voters. Supporting these proposals aligns with Cardano’s growth and serves the best interests of WingRiders DAO.
II: WingRiders DEX Partner & liquidity provision projects
Any proposals from protocols participating in liquidity provision on WingRiders DEX and partner projects (such as oracles, wallets, and aggregators)
III: Direct User Proposal Submissions Process
Users of WingRiders DEX will be able to submit proposals directly through the WingRiders app during the submission window announced prior to voting. Each user may submit a limited number of proposals. Submissions will be ranked based on the sum of the DAO voting power of all users who submitted them, ensuring fairness and engagement from active community members.
IV: Proposals from the “X Engagement Contest” promoting WingRiders DEX
This category includes proposals created through the WingRiders Twitter Engagement Campaign - initiatives designed to support Catalyst participation, highlight community projects, and strengthen overall engagement within the Cardano ecosystem. The scoring system combines community engagement and proposal quality into a single transparent scoring system, rewarding both organic participation and well-rated proposals from the Catalyst community.
Final scores for the WingRiders Catalyst Engagement Campaign will be tracked on the Public Data Sheet, which includes the scoring formula and evaluation metrics.
DAO Voting Process
A set of proposals across all categories will be presented to the DAO for consideration. The total number may vary each round, depending on the total number of proposals submitted to Catalyst and on any updates made by the Catalyst Foundation to the official rules or framework.
DAO members will cast their votes through the WingRiders voting platform. Based on DAO participation and proposal quality, WingRiders DAO expects to support approximately 10 to 17 proposals in future Catalyst Funds.
In addition to community-selected proposals, certain WingRiders internal initiatives may also be included and supported by the DAO’s voting power when relevant to ecosystem development and alignment with Cardano’s broader goals.
Voting Rewards
Consistent with previous rounds, the WingRiders DAO uses rewards from Catalyst voting to buy back WRT, reinforcing token value and supporting long-term ecosystem growth. This strategy rewards governance participation, strengthens economic stability, and promotes sustainable development.
